Project Overview
David and Rebecca approached us with a vision: to extend and reconfigure their home, beautifully situated in the green belt, with stunning views and an expansive garden. Their goal was to create more space while optimising the internal layouts to make the most of the extraordinary surroundings.

Our design transforms their home inside and out. The proposed extension enhances the connection to nature, incorporating carefully chosen materials like timber and real stone to harmonise with the rural setting. A particular highlight is the new master bedroom, which has been thoughtfully positioned to capture breathtaking views of the nearby lake. This design prioritises both functionality and the seamless integration of the home with its picturesque environment.

Our Favourite Memory
One of the most rewarding aspects of this project has been collaborating closely with David and Rebecca to explore creative ideas, from material choices to layout adjustments. Hearing them say, “We never thought the house could feel this connected to the landscape,” was a standout moment for us.

Timescales
We were appointed to the project around six months ago, and the design is currently progressing through the planning process. With construction anticipated to follow, David and Rebecca are one step closer to realising their dream home, perfectly tailored to their lifestyle and its stunning setting.
